Oldham, Richard A., Jr. (Dick) 81 years of age, passed away on January 31st of complications of mantle cell lymphoma. Preceded in death by mother, Augusta Mae Hicks; father, Richard Oldham Sr.; stepfather, Charles Hicks and sister, Jeannene Ramsey. Survived by his loving wife, Carol, of 57 years; daughters, Staci (Glenn), Melissa, and Samantha (Steve) Duret; half sister, Sandra (Jim) Brown; grandchildren, Kelsey, Madeleine and Jack, and his furry little constant companion, Mickey. Dick started at the Mpls Postal Data Center at 19 years of age as a data processing equipment operator, left for a stint in the Army, and retired from the Data Center as a general manager after 37 years. His retirement consisted of spending the winter months in Sanibel Island and Ft. Myers, FL and traveling the United States and Europe. His annual summer fishing trips to the Brainerd area with his fishing buddies was a highlight, as was golfing. At Dick's request, there will be no funeral, just his family and a minister wishing him Godspeed.
