Harris, Murray Peter Passed away peacefully on January 13, 2015, surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan, son Kevin (Ila), daughter Michelle (Michael), four grandchildren (Samuel, Julia, Madeline and Eleanor), sister (Nadia), brother (Victor), and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, graduated from the University of Manitoba, and completed an MBA at the Ohio State University. He worked in marketing for General Mills and 3M, and, later, worked independently. At 3M he frequently traveled, giving presentations throughout North and South America and Europe. Murray enjoyed running, gardening, photography, bridge, traveling, golf, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. After retiring, he vacationed in southern California for several weeks each winter. Murray was a kind, caring, and religious gentleman who always put his family first. The family would like to express gratitude to Dr. Paul Abraham, and the wonderful caregivers at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital and Sholom Home West. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sharing and Caring Hands or charity of choice.
