Sater, Gary A. 68, of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully Jan. 22, 2015. He was born July 1, 1946 to Arnold & Hazel (Monson) Sater in Austin, MN. Gary met and fell in love with Janice Kaiser and later married May 24, 1975. They were blessed with 2 sons, Marc, his fishing/cribbage partner, and Christopher, his fellow lover of sports. He worked primarily in sales with Ingersoll-Rand Tools. Gary loved his family, time spent at the cabin, watching his grandchildren grow up, cribbage and watching sports. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 39 years, Janice, sons: Marc (Cheryl) and Christopher, grandchildren: Matheau and Abby, brother: Oren "Louie" (Kathie) Sater, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and good friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be Fri, Feb 13, 2015 at 10:30 am at Church of the Epiphany, 11001 Hanson Blvd NW, Coon Rapids with a visitation 1 hour prior to Mass. Private family interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
