Bernadine P. (nee Leifermann) Ruhl

Ruhl, Bernadine P. (nee Leifermann) Age 90. Proud resident and retired elementary school teacher in Bloomington, MN. Born Nov. 6, 1924 in Buffalo Lake, MN, arrived in her heavenly Father's arms on Dec. 23, 2014. Preceded in death by husband of 51 years, William J. Ruhl; son, William T. Ruhl; granddaughter, Jennifer L. Youngdahl; sisters & brother. Survived by children, Barbara (Brian Ericson, deceased), Brian (Barbara Peitso,) Bradley (Lynn) & Brent (Chris;) 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and sister, Marilyn Swenson. Berna lived for her family, her faith, education and music. She adored singing, baking, gardening, fishing (only Ruhl to ever catch a muskie!,) all Minnesota sports & teaching music to her students, children, grandchildren and great-grandchil-dren. She lived by the "Golden Rule" & frequently traveled the road with husband, Wm. J. "The Golden Ruhl." Her favorite lesson to all was to "smile at the stranger you meet & become their friend." Her kindness to others was unwavering & she always, always had time to listen. Her strong Christian faith will help us through our sorrow. Please join us as we celebrate Bernadine's life.
