Enroth, Dr. Theresa Louise McElwee "Tess" August 20, 1925 - November 24, 2014 Tess grew up in Minnesota, "beside clear blue lakes, where the Northern Lights and the Milky Way lit up the night." She married Clyde Enroth and raised 3 children. After earning her MA in Sacramento and her Doctor of Arts at SUNY Albany, Tess taught college English and creative writing for more than 25 years. Her poems, short stories and articles have appeared in anthologies and literary journals. She lived in many places around the world, and then retired to Portland, Oregon. She is survived by her children Daniel, Kate, and Sarah Enroth. "She was a first-class lady, in every sense of the word."
