Margaret Lucinda Harris

Harris, Margaret Lucinda Margaret, while surrounded by the love of her family and friends, passed away peacefully and without pain on Monday, December 15 at the age of 71. Her unexpected, tragic, and sudden death was caused by a hemorrhagic stroke. Margaret was preceded in death by her her strong, loving husband of 44 years, Russ; wonderful parents, Roland and Mildred Jones; and her sweet, caring sisters Judy Scott (Frank) and Connie Loomis. She is survived by her children, the apples of her eye, Daniel (Julie) and Joseph (Danielle); her grandchildren, her true pride and joy, Anna, Elizabeth, Jack and Benjamin; her brother Steve Jones (Kathy Garrity); her brothers-in-law John Loomis and James Harris (Judy); and her sister-in-law, Audrey Harris. Margaret also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, god-children, cousins, and countless friends. After her retirement in 2012, she participated in countless activities including multiple card clubs, swimming classes at the YMCA, and committees and events at her Real-Life Cooperative home. Whether she was playing with or babysitting her grandchildren, going out to eat or to movies with her friends, or just enjoying a family dinner with her loved ones, she was always positive, sweet, supportive, loving, and above all, selfless. Service 11:00 AM Saturday, Dec. 20, with visitation one hour prior at Servant of Christ Lutheran Church, 740 East Hayden Lake Road, Champlin. Fellowship and lunch follow the service.
