Pilon, Janet (Needham) Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Age 93 of Crystal, passed away Dec. 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Armand; son & daughter-in-law, Steve and Karen; granddaughter, Grace Pilon; parents, Charles and Jennie Needham; 3 sisters, 5 brothers and their spouses. She is loved and will be deeply missed by her sons, Tom (Sue), Chris (Karleen), Mark (Sue), Jeff (Sue), Rick (Jennifer) and Dave (Joanne) all of the Twin Cities; daughters, Kathy Gates (Gary) of Omaha and Jan Sponsler (Denny) of Mpls.; 28 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Janet had a gift for making each person feel special. She loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, playing bridge, reading, and was a lifelong volunteer for numerous programs including Dinner at Your Door, N.E.A.R. Foodshelf, Loaves and Fishes and the North Memorial Hospital chaplain's office. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday at The Church of St. Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Road, Crystal. Visitation 4-8 PM Sunday with 4PM rosary and a service celebrating Janet's life 6:30 PM at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. at Vicksburg Lane. Visitation also Monday at church one hour prior to Mass. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the N.E.A.R. Food Shelf, Sharing and Caring Hands or The Church of St. Raphael.
