Skold, Rita M. Age 59, of Big Lake, passed away peacefully surroun-ded by family on Nov. 17, following a short, but courageous battle with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD). A beautiful, creative artist/painter and cosmetologist, Rita brought color to everything she did. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Rita's radiant smile and warm laughter lit up the world around her. We will miss her warm personality and zest for life. Preceded by her mother, Rita; twin brother Robert Jochum Jr, son-in-law, Adam Prest. Survived by her husband of 40 years, Steven; daughters, Aimee (Brad) Bone and Erin (Jake Hase) Prest; grandchildren, Adison, Derby, Stella, Ryder, Wyatt; father, Robert Jochum Sr, siblings, Barb (Ron Martino) Hollenbeck, Jean (Jerry) Hendrickx, Jeff (Kristen) Jochum, and Joe Jochum; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and many friends. A Celebration of Rita's life will be held on Fri., Dec 5 at 1 PM at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St., Elk River, with visitation one hour prior to service.
