Jensen, Carol The Service to Celebrate the Life of Carol Jensen of Wadena will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, at the John-son-Schuller Chapel in Wadena, with Pastor Jill Pawlowski officiating. Friends may call at the chapel on Thursday from noon until the time of service. Carol was called home by her Father on November 17, 2014. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by family members and under the gentle care of Legacy Hospice. Carol Ann was born to Michael and Arvesta (Gannon) Trantanella on September 10, 1936 at St. Paul, MN. She married James Palmer Jensen, Jr. on 9/18/1956 in Charles City, IA. They were the owners of the Terry Motel in Wadena. Carol enjoyed gardening, volunteering, and mentoring others. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Jim on April 15, 2012; and daughter Janine Ann Jensen; brothers Frank Trantanella & sister Elaine Schuster. Surviving Carol are her sons James III of Valdosta, GA, Floyd (Deb) of Brainerd, John (Beth) of Maple Grove, and Frank (Stephanie) of Jamestown ND; granddaughters, Sarah, Roseanna, Michelle, Cassandra, Kelsey and Brianna; grandsons Thomas, Joseph, and Justin; and 3 great-grandchildren; along with sisters Faye (Ralph) Rudy of Maplewood and Lois (Harvey) Horsfall of Iowa. Pallbearers will be Bryan Flach, Justin Baldy, Thomas Jensen, Joseph Jensen and Ryan Jahnke. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Wadena, MN. Carol's last wish was to not mourn for her. Her life on this earth was filled with much satisfaction, love and happiness.
