Leeper, William Truman, Jr. Age 97, of Plymouth, passed away November 5, 2014. Preceded in death by his wife of 50+ years, Lillian, granddaughter, Andrea Leeper, and great-nephew, Travis Hembroff. Bill was an honored member of IBEW Local 292 for 70+ years. He was a longtime political and social activist with the MN-DFL, the City of Plymouth Human Rights Committee, and Union groups. After retirement, he continued with Union Retirees organizations and the Senior Federation, working tirelessly on getting services to Seniors. Bill was also a Navy veteran, serving in World War II and the Korean conflict, and a proud Mason. Survived by his daughter, Monica (Robert) Teisberg and son Martin (Joan) Leeper; sister Helen Flemming; grandchildren Cheri (James) Singleton, Stephanie Leeper, and Margaret Teisberg; great-grandchildren Melinda Singleton, Heather (Mark) Anderson, Nicholas Singleton, and Matthew Singleton, his great-great-granddaughter, Katelynn Anderson; nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday (11/23) 2-4 pm and also one hour prior to service. Funeral service Monday (11/24) 10 am, with luncheon following, at Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel, 5125 W Broadway, Crystal.
