Clarice (Burnison) Anderson

Anderson, Clarice Burnison age 88, of Richfield. Born Mar. 11, 1926 - Died Oct. 22, 2014. Clarice was born in Ruthton, MN, graduated as Valedictorian from Alpena High School, SD. Moved to Mpls. In 1944 and attended the Gale Institute. Married Reuben W. Anderson in 1950. Worked at Cedar Lake Ice & Fuel, Dayton Rubber Co. and Gamble Robinson Co. Taught at House of Prayer Nursery School for 20 years and was employed by Weight Watchers for 35 years. An advocate of healthy eating from an early age, Clarice loved camping as a family and organizing, attending and modeling in many fashion shows. A member of House of Prayer Lutheran Church for almost 60 years, volunteering for many activities. Survived by son, Bradley; daughter, Marcia Perkins (Mike Dickey); grandchildren, Nicholas (Nicole) Perkins and Jennie Perkins; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Caleb, many nieces, nephews and friends, all of whom will miss her very much. The family extends a special thank you to Fairview Hospice and to everyone at N.C. Little Hospice. Funeral service Tuesday, (Oct. 28), at 11:00 AM at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 7625 Chicago Ave. S., Richfield. Interment at Ft. Snelling. Visitation is Monday from 5:00-7:00 PM at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S. and one hour prior to service at the church.
