Hood, Robert W. "Bobby" Age 53, of Apple Valley, MN, left us far too soon on October 18, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Robert Edward Hood and Barbara Whelan Hood, his sister, Robin Hood Koop and his cousin, Edwin Shumway. Survived by his wife Tracie (Nalepinski) Hood; sons Nicholas and Zachary Hood; brother Brett Hood (Raleigh, NC); aunt, Carolyn Shumway (Charlotte, NC); brother William (Beth) Lindsay (Raleigh, NC); sister-in-law, Julie (Tom) Gunderson (Lakeville, MN); nieces and nephews Lindsay (Scott) Myers, Ashley and John Koop (San Diego), Christopher and Julia Lindsay (Raleigh, NC), Claire and Lily Gunderson (Lakeville, MN); mother-in law Barb Nalepinski (Lakeville, MN), father-in-law Ron Nalepinski (Edina, MN); cousins; other family members and many wonderful friends across the miles. "Hood-z" was a wonderful dad, had a heart of gold, could make anyone laugh or smile, loved the ocean and loved to serve others. He cherished his boys more than life and was their biggest fan. He will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Bobby's Life, 6 PM Friday, October 24th, 2014 at the THOMSON - DOUGHERTY MANSION, 2535 Park Avenue, Minneapolis, MN.
