Kullman, Thomas B. Beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at age 87. He will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, kind and generous heart and great love for his family, God and his church. Tom will be deeply missed by his wife, Alice, of 61 years, sister Rosemary May (Ray); daughter Linda Cummings (Jim); son, Tom H. (Disa); grandchildren, Erin Plesha (Jeremy); Shauna Allen; Jessica Kullman; and Benjamin Kullman. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren. After graduation from the Business School of Northwestern University, he served in the Navy aboard two aircraft carriers - Boxer and Wasp - in the Korean War and subsequently attained the rank of Navy Captain and continued in the Naval Reserve for 39 years. He worked for Bowman Dairy, Dairy Queen as Vice President, and started his own company, Qualcon, where he provided his friend, Dave Thomas with the formula for the Frosty and other products when Dave founded Wendy's. Tom loved fishing, hunting, visits to Dairymens C.C. in WI and was a longtime member of Lafayette C.C. where he spent a term on the Board of Governors. He and Alice enjoyed traveling widely around the world. His family thanks Summerwood of Chan-hassen and Lake Minnetonka Shores for their devoted care and loving concern the last years of his life. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, 18323 Minnetonka Blvd., Deephaven (952-473-4422). Visitation Friday, Oct. 24 from 5-8 PM at Huber Funeral Home Chapel, 520 2nd St., Excelsior. Visitation also one hour prior to service at the church on Saturday. Interment Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum, Shorewood.
