Deegan, Gerald Michael "Duke" age 80, a proud Irishman from NE Mpls. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Lorraine; sister, Pat Calguire; and brother, Robert. Survived by son, Jerry (Barb); daughter, Julie (Howard) Holmen; grandchildren, Jack, Grace and Luke Holmen; brothers, Tom and Dave Deegan; many nieces and nephews. Retired teamster from the Star Tribune. He enjoyed all sports especially softball. Duke was always known as a "Long Ball Threat". A special thank you to everyone at Johnson's Bacon and Egg Cafe.
