Vickery, Mildred Ione "Millie" (Hoover) Age 89, of Minnetonka, MN, went to be with her Lord on September 17, 2014. Born August 8, 1925, in Howard Lake, MN. Met Ben Vickery in Colorado and they were married September 23, 1950, in Howard Lake. Very active volunteer at Bundles of Love. Amazing seamstress, gardener, cook, baker and MOM! Preceded in death by parents, William and Jennie (Bowers) Hoover; sister, Dorothy Hendrickson; brothers, Floyd, Marion and Roy Hoover. Survived by loving husband of 64 years, Ben; children, Robert Vickery, Marilyn (Rob) Rukavina, Jan (Rick) Lillemo and Ron (Serra) Vickery; grandchildren, Jenn (Justin), David, Benjamin III, Hannah, Cole and Noah; sisters, Helen Reed and Betty Snyder. Service 3:00 PM Sat., October 4 at Plymouth Presbyterian Church, 3755 Dunkirk Ln. N., Plymouth. Private interment Fort Snelling. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Bundles of Love Charity, 8th Air Force Historical Society or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She will be missed by many and was loved by all.
