Jones, Beatrice K. The family of Beatrice K. Jones mourns her death on Saturday, August 16th, one day before her 96th birthday. We celebrate her many roles in life: daughter, sister, wife, war widow, wife, mother, aunt, volunteer, board member, business woman, grandmother and great-grandmother -- all in tireless pursuit of honesty, fairness and love. Preceded in death by husband of 61 years, Frank T. Jones; and first husband of 3 months, World War II Navy Pilot, O.A. Weeklund; her father and mother, Earl and Emma Osgood; sister, Jean; and brother, World War II Army Scout, Richard. Survived by son, Richard (Louise) of St. Paul; daughter, Betty Strong of Edina; son, Frank "Chip" (Megan) of Edina; son, Ted (Peter Petas) of MA; grandchildren, Natalie, Alex (fiancee Emily Degnan), Dana, Whitney (Andy), Lauren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
