Scherping, Terrance Scott "Terry" age 51, of Winsted, MN passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital surrounded by loving family. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted, MN. Visitation on Friday from 3-8 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM & one hour prior to Mass ALL AT THE CHURCH. Interment Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Winsted, MN. Terry was born on February 11, 1963 in St. Cloud, MN the son of Art & Aggie (Riesner) Scherping. Terry graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1981. He attended Ridgewater College in Hutchinson for tool & die. He married Joann Laxen on June 12, 1993 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted, MN. He was the co-owner of AWI Manufacturing Inc. Terry loved hunting, fishing, snow-mobiling, riding his Harley & four wheeling with his family & friends. Terry was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben & Marcella Scherping & Al & Julia Riesner.
