Deichelbohrer, Gene "Tex" of Shakopee died on July 21st, his 87th birthday. Tex was an employee of N.S.P. and member of the I.B.E #160 for 34 years. He graduated from Patrick Henry in 1945. After losing his long fight with asbestosis, he chose to donate his body to the U of M. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Diane (Steve) Solyst. Survived by wife, Lucille, son, David (Peggy), daughter, Denise (Travis) Estes, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Tex's life will be held at the V.F.W. 1202 3rd Ave. E. Shakopee on Thursday, July 24th from 4:00-8:00 PM.
