Krier, Keith N. age 95 of Alexandria, formerly of Tonka Bay, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Survived by his daughters Katherine (Gary) Reagan, Nancy (Larry) Wazeter, Mary Ellen (Doug) Thompson; five grandchildren: Sally (Jesse) Reagan-Smith, Nick Reagan, Samatha Thompson, Laurel Thompson, Rachel Thompson; great granddaughter, Charlotte Smith; brother-in-law, Maurice (Mag) Weyhmiller; special niece Patricia Preller. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet; parents: Nicholas & Anna; brother, Adrian; sister, Ottilia. Graduate of De LaSalle High School in Minneapolis and graduate of University of Minnesota with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. ROTC Veteran of World War II, 101st Airborne Glider Division. He spent his entire career at Tennant Co. in Golden Valley, MN retiring as Manager Product Design Engineering. Keith had many hobbys including woodworking, golfing, bowling, and boating on Lake Minnetonka. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Knute Nelson Hospice or The Written Gift, P.O. Box 605, Alexandria, MN 56308. The Krier family wishes to express its heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at Grand Arbor South Meadows and South Prairie and Knute Nelson Hospice for their loving care. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alexandria with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
