Helppi, Matthew Age 29, formerly of Plymouth. After struggling with depression our beloved Matthew took his life on Sept. 11, 2017. Graduated with honors from Wayzata High School, U of MN and earned his doctorate in organic chemistry from Purdue. He worked at Pharmagra Labs in Pisgah Forest, NC. He will be missed by his fiancee' Han Nguyen; parents, Mark and Connie; grandmother, Lempi Roiko; brothers, Ben (Clare), Philip (Jeannette), Jason, David, Luke, John and Zach; sisters, Amelia, Sarah and Madelyn; nieces and nephews, Lillian, Antti, Eerikki and Aada; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral Service 11 am Monday at First Apostolic Lutheran Church, 2300 Cox Trail, Long Lake, MN 55356. Visitation 2-4 Sunday and 1 hour prior to service also at the church. All are welcome.
