Anderson, Ida J. (nee Finne) Age 100, of Edina MN, passed away on August 8th, 2017. Ida graduated from Washington High School in Brainerd, MN with honors. She married Kenneth F. Anderson and had four children. After teaching private music lessons, she went back to school at St. Cloud State University for her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Music. She also taught English at Washington High School in Brainerd. She was a pianist with a passion for music. Ida retired to Port Charlotte FL with her husband, and spent a number of happy years there. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by husband, Kenneth; daughter, Christine Whyatt; sisters, Miriam Fjelde, Edna Finne, Ethel Johnson and Doris Winter; brothers, Arthur Finne, and Clarence Finne. She is survived by sons; Robert (Sydney) Anderson, Richard Anderson; daughter, Joyce Schlafge; sister Judith Winter; many grandchildren, and great-grand-children. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd MN.
