Knake, Bernice "Bernie" age 92, formerly of Bloomington, entered eternity with Jesus on Aug. 4, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Del and infant grandson, Jonathan; parents, Andrew and Alfrida (Lander) Benson; as well as 7 siblings, Morris, Harold, Ruth, Rudolph, Reuben, Carl and Lorraine. She is survived by children, Kory (Dan) Everson, Dan (Lisa) Knake and Kelly (Mandy Reyes) Knake; grandchildren, Molly, Emily, Jacqueline, Andrew and Katie as well as great grandchildren, Kai, Keira, Luke, Hunter, Maddie Claire and Hallie Grace. Bernie was born in Little Falls, MN and moved to the Twin Cities as a young woman. She and Del married in 1947. Bernie enjoyed traveling to Texas to visit grandchildren, sewing, crafts and making special gifts for others. After retirement as a secretary she volunteered at two care centers and Vine & Branches Clothing Center. She was an active and long-time member of Hope Church. Special thanks to the caregivers at Becky's Place for the loving care she received these last 6 years. Memorial service and celebration of the resurrection will be held at Hope Church, 7132 Portland Ave S, Richfield, Tuesday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m. Evening visitation, Monday, August 14, also at the church, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Memorials preferred to Hope Church.
