Eunice E. (Guldseth) Johnson

Johnson, Eunice E. (Guldseth) age 94, of Richfield. Born Oct. 24, 1922 at Sylvan Lake, Alb., Canada to Bernhard and Lillie Guldseth. Eunice passed away peacefully on July 30, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a retired church school teacher who was believer baptized at age 80. She had been battling Parkinson's disease for over 15 years. She grew up in the 1920's and the 1930's, the daughter (one of seven children) of strict but loving parents. She lived through the Great Depression and served as Rosie the Riveter at a Boeing plant in Seattle, Washington during WWII making B-17's! Eunice was taught from a young age, by her Norwegian Lutheran Pastor Father, to love and serve God, her family and others, and that's exactly what she did! She gave her life away loving and serving others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Russell Johnson, her parents and siblings Ruth and Dorothy. Survived by children, Jean Ann (Dave), Joyce (John) and Phillip; grandchildren Jason (Anna), Julie (Brad), Jeffrey, Davey (Rachel) and Boo (Tom), and great-grandchildren, Jayden, Isaiah, Lily and Gracie; siblings, Paul Guldseth, Lois Steinbrecher, Rhoda Schaffer and James Guldseth; nieces and nephews. Service Saturday, (August 19), at 12:00 Noon at Oak Grove Lutheran Church, 7045 Lyndale Ave. S., Richfield. Visitation is 11:30 12:00 noon. Luncheon at the church will follow. Interment at Old Trondhjem Lutheran Church Cemetery, 8501 Garfield Ave S., Lonsdale, MN, following the luncheon. Memorials suggested to Good News for Israel.
