Darlene Beverly Rossum

Rossum, Darlene Beverly Delivered by her father Jacob Kloster at home on May 5, 1937 at Gonvik MN. Passed away on July 18, 2017 after a brief battle with aggressive cancer. Preceded in death by father Jacob and mother Gertrude, brothers Orvis, Morris, Tal and Donald. Survived by brother Rev. James Kloster and sister Joanne Stillwell. Also survived by husband Barry of 55 years, daughter Rhonda (Craig) IntVeld, son Brent (Jenn) Rossum, grandchildren Max, Hannah, Abby Intveld and Brooks and Kai Rossum. Darlene was a world traveler, 50 countries and 47 states. Studied at Augsburg University and University of Minnesota. Degree in medical technology. Worked in medical clinics in Minnesota, North Dakota and California. Co-founder of book clubs. Active in Democratic Party. Sailed in the Bahamas, French Riveria, CA Channel Islands and Minnesota. White water rafted in New Zealand. Water skier. Mayan Culture lecturer. Snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef. Walked the Great Wall of China. Glider Pilot. A true adventurer and a beautiful lady. Celebration of life event to be held in late August.
