Murphy, John F. age 80 of New Hope passed away July 15, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, John and Merle Murphy; siblings, Pat Meyer, Jeremiah Murphy, and Sheila McDonald. Survived by wife of 50 years, Kathleen; daughters, Bridget Murphy (Chuck Storlie), Shannon Riley (Jason), and Molly Prew (Paul); grandchildren, Murphy, Kiara, Sam and Bobby; special pet, Sophie; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends. John enjoyed playing cards at Running Aces. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday (7/20), 11 AM at St. Joseph Parish Center, 36th & Boone Ave. No., New Hope. Private interment. Visitation Wednesday (7/19), 5-8 PM at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway and one hour before the Mass at the church.
