Spence, Judith A. (Carlson) born Jan 9, 1944 and slipped away peacefully Apr 18, 2017 after a 10 year struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born to Stan and Frances Carlson in Mpls. MN, graduated Robbinsdale High School 1962 and went to the University of Minnesota where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1967. Married B. Robert Spence, M.D. in 1965 and remained at his side for 52 years. She was a beautiful, loving wife and mother who was devoted to her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stan and Frances Carlson. She is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Anne Harris (Travis) sons John and David Spence, grandson Grant Robert Harris, brother David Carlson (Gegi) brother-in-law Ken Spence (Brenda) nieces Katie and Jessie, and nephew Jake. Memorials can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
