Broom, Leslie Alden age 81, of Coon Rapids, passed away of heart failure on April 18, 2017. He retired as an electrical inspector from Unisys. Preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; parents James and Veda and brothers, Lavern (Sylvia) and Eugene. Survived by brother, Kenneth; daughters, Lynn (Bob) George, Sharon Bartels (Paul) and Annette (Troy) Frost; grandchildren, Alicia, Christopher, Jessica (Drew) and Joshua; sister-in-law, Barbara; and a niece many nephews, relatives and friends. A special thank you to his brother Ken for taking such great care of Dad for the last 2 years. We couldn't have done it without you. Also like to thank all the special angels that were so great with him inspite of how challenging he could be when his pain was so great.
