Ellison, Syrile Yetta Meyers passed away peacefully on Thursday, 9 February 2017. She was 85 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband Evan Ellison, a respected orthopedic surgeon, who passed away in 2010. A memorial service was held in Tucson, Arizona on 4 March 2017. Syrile lived in Minneapolis for many years, graduating from North High School and University of Minnesota. She and her husband had many close friends and relatives. They retired to Tucson, Arizona in 2002. Syrile is survived by 5 children: JoAnn Ellison, Judith Lynn, Joyce Foldvary, Richard Kent Ellison, David Jonas Ellison, and 5 grandchildren. Memorials preferred to the donor's favorite charity.
