Lynne, Doris Margaret age 95, of Golden Valley, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2017 surrounded by family. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved nature and was an avid reader. She was a wonderul cook and seamstress. In her retirement years she became an accomplished painter, and she loved traveling with her husband in their RV. They spent summers at their lake cabin in MN, where family and friends loved to gather. She was born June 6, 1921 in Valley City, ND to Elias and Marie (Johannessen) Larson and grew up in Fargo, ND. Preceded in death by husband, Robert "Bob" who died in 1996, sister, Allis Wagner; brother, Harold Larson; and grandson-in-law, Tom Cieslukowski. Survived by daughter, Margaret "Peggy" (Bob) Miller; son, Robert "Bob" (Jan) Lynne Jr.; grandchildren, Lynne Law, Julie Cieslukowski, Jeanne (Steve) Bolz, Jason Lynne and David (Caitlyn) Lynne and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Covenant Village, 5800 St. Croix Ave N, Golden Valley, MN on Tuesday, March 28 at 10:30 AM. Visitation 1/2 hour prior to service. Private burial at Fort Snelling.
