Pettit, Steven Phillip The heavens tremble, for a great warrior has arrived! Steven Phillip Pettit of Saint Paul, born November 11, 1962 in Syracuse, New York, went to the spirit realm on January 5, 2017. Born with hemophilia, infected in adulthood with HIV, Hepatitis B and C from blood transfusions, Mr. Pettit battled these bravely and found time to be the greatest human being that ever was. Liver cancer was a jerk though and decided to take a cheap shot at him from the shadows like a coward. He now joins his beloved dog Patches in the after-world along with parents Donald and Helen Pettit, siblings Sherry, Debbie and Donald, and high school love Georgia Garrick. Attending to affairs in the mortal realm for him are daughter Juliette (Brian Jones) and sister Aimee (Steve Kern). He also leaves behind numerous family by both blood and friendship on two legs and four. A celebration of his life will take place at the MSP airport Hilton on Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 2pm-5pm. No flowers please: plant one instead, or adopt a shelter pet for life, or just be a kind human being. Life is short: do your best regardless like Mr. Pettit did. The family would like to thank Cremation Society of Minnesota.
