McElroy, Arlys "Chub" (Scheevel) age 84, of Brooklyn Center, passed away on January 15, 2017. Preceded in death by daughters, Deborah Roehl, Cynthia McElroy; grandson, Ronald McElroy; parents, Robert and Laura Scheevel; 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 5 sisters-in-law, 4 brothers-in-law. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 66 years, John "Dave" McElroy; children, Kevin (Linda), Julie (John) Krohn, Joe (Carol), Pat, Chris (Kristine); 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; many relatives & good friends. Mom enjoyed golfing with her family and the times at Breezy Point. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. A woman of Faith, she is now at peace with God. Memorial Mass 12 pm Monday, January 30th at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave N., Brooklyn Center (763-561-5100) with visitation at church 1 hour before. Private interment.
