Hukriede, Glen J. Age 76, of Maple Grove, passed away December 6, 2016. Preceded in death by parents Ted and Edna Hukriede. Glen was born and raised in Bertha, MN, served as Airman first class in the US Air Force from 1959-63 and was a loyal employee of Control Data Corp, later Seagate Technology, for over 40 years. Survived by wife Norma J. Talley-Hukriede; brothers Harold (Bernadette), Ron (Denise), Steve (Brenda), and Wes; sisters Pearl Peterson (Pete), Lorraine Galle (Ray), Bernice Fox (David); daughter Cherie Handberg-Davis (Lincoln); son Bradley Hukriede; stepchildren Paul Talley (Tess), Kris Zick (Jeff) and Maria Weness (Jeff); grandchildren: Anna & Bryce Hukriede, Maria & Mark Handberg, John & Stephen Davis; step-grandchildren Matthew, Erika, Logan, Ryan, Erin, Charlie, & Everett, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at North Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care he received there. A Celebration of Life will be held at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Road 101 in Maple Grove on Monday, December 12 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to The Veterans Association or the American Stroke Association.
