Shipman, Donald W. age 76 passed away October 20th, 2016. Donald was born Sept. 5, 1940 in Crosby-Ironton MN and resided in Brainerd MN. Preceded in death by his parents Donald and Caroline; brother Paul. Survived by his wife of 48 years Nancy; children Chris (Karl), Ken (Kellie) , Joe (Julie), Deb (James); 7 grandchildren Nicole, Alisha, Eric, Katelyn, Sarah, Rachel, AJ; 2 great- grandchildren Kaitlynn, Hunter; sisters Barbara (Joe) and Carol. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brainerd.
