Southerton, Laurie Thrun 51, of Kerrick, MN, passed from this earth on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 after fighting a difficult battle with cancer. She was truly a special woman and her passion for life and those in it knew no boundaries. She shined a light on all the lives that she touched and she will forever be in our hearts as the ring-leader of fun and love. She taught us all how to enjoy every day and to make it count. She is survived by her amazing husband, Jeff; boys, Nic (Sarah), Cole (Abby) and Cory (Brooke) Southerton, her parents, Clarence and Charlotte Thrun; siblings, and a huge family of friends. A memorial service for Laurie will be held on Thursday, October 27 at 1:00 pm with a visitation one hour prior at the Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley. Reception following.
