Rynerson, Jeannine Dolores (Sept. 26, 1928 - Sept. 28, 2016) Jeannine Dolores Rynerson passed away peaceably, surrounded by family on September 28, 2016. Jeannine was born in the small town of Clark, South Dakota on September 26, 1928, the third child of Earl and Helen Kelley. After numerous moves, the family ended up in Rapid City for Jeannine's high school years. Following high school, she made the big move to the big city of Chicago where she met John, her "perfect life partner" and soon-to-be husband of nearly 60 years. Over the course of the next three decades, the family made numerous moves around the country, from Chicagoto New Jerseyto Kansasto Missouri, eventually settling in Apple Valley, Minnesota in 1968. During those years, the family grew to include sons Mike (1951), Scott (1954), John (1960) and daughter Christine (1963). After successfully raising the four children, Jeannine made yet another major life change at age 50 by getting her first driver's license and rejoining the workforce, becoming the first hostess at Dayton's Greenhouse Restaurant at the Burnsville Center. While there, she made a lasting impression on thousands of patrons. Jeannine was active in the Apple Valley Seniors, as a member of numerous groups and committees. She was a voracious reader, with her primary choice being romance novels. She often said she was extremely blessed to have had wonderful parents, wonderful brothers and sisters and, of course, a wonderful family. She never wavered from doting on her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She look-ed forward to each and every Rynerson family get-together. She never lost her love for the Black Hills of South Dakota and was able to visit one last time this past August for her brother Bill's 80th birthday celebration. Jeannine is preceded in death by her husband John, and son-in-law Dale. She is survived by her sons Mike, Scott (Karen) and John "Tad" and daughter Christine, grandchildren Amy (Chris) Markus, Mick (Tari) Rynerson, Chelsea (Brent) Terning, Arielle (Bryan) Jones and Briana Rynerson. She will also be dearly missed by her great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Alex and Noah Markus, Mick, Victoria, Joey and Sammy Rynerson, Morgan, Oliver, Claire and John Terning and Zak, Katie, Micah, Tobias and Gideon Dale Jones. Funeral arrangements are being handled by White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Avenue, Apple Valley, MN. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Sunday, October 2nd and one hour preceding the church ceremony. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Nativity Episcopal Church, 15601 Maple Island Road, Burnsville, MN., on Monday, October 3rd beginning at 11 am, followed by a luncheon reception. Private interment service will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the N.C.
