Eblen, Donald D. Formerly of Minneapolis, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016, at the age of 92. Don was a WWII Navy veteran, Minneapolis Public Schools teacher, volunteer at Fairview Southdale Hospital and Past Faithful Navigator of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Phyllis, daughter Kathy (Phil) Ledoux, son-in-law Russ Landers, grandchildren Chris Ledoux, Amy (Ryan) Lundquist, Denise Ledoux (Rasey Proeung), Joe Ledoux, Elizabeth (Nick) Lehmann, Tom (Holly) Lunde, Katie Landers, Patrick (Angie) Carbert, Meghan Landers (Jose), 19 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Mary, two grandsons, parents, two brothers and two sisters. Visitation from 5-7 PM Monday at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 5801 Lyndale Ave. S and one hour prior to mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 4 at 11 AM at Church of the Annunciation, 509 W. 54th St., with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
