Goodell-Holmes, Alan "Doc" - Alan "Doc" Goodell-Holmes, of Plymouth, unexpectedly passed away on Sept. 25, 2016, at the age of 69. Alan is survived by his wife Jo, children Gregory and Charito, as well as his mother, four siblings, brother-in-law, and their families. Alan was born and raised in Portsmouth, NH. He served in the Air Force during Vietnam. He obtained his Ph.D. in psychology from the U of MN. He worked in many leadership roles within various organizations in the Twin Cities. Family always came first for him. His passions included sports, writing, music, the outdoors, motorcycling, and making sure people were having as much fun as he was. A visitation will be held from 4PM-7PM TODAY, Sunday, October 2 at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Home, 15800 37th Ave N in Plymouth, MN. The funeral service will be held Monday, October 3 at Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd E in Wayzata, MN, beginning at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior to the service, followed by refreshments at the church, with committal at Groveland Cemetery, 3300 Woodlawn Ave in Wayzata, MN.
