Tourand, Joanne Carol 69, entered eternal peace on September 21. Joanne was born on March 8, 1947 in Langdon, ND to Eugene and Clarine Tourand. Joanne had a beautiful smile and a peaceful spirit that blessed those who came in contact with her. Joanne is survived by her daughters Janel (Laurence) Hadfield and Heather (Jeff) Atwood; father Eugene; brothers David and Richard (Lori); sisters Maureen Roberts and Donna (Bruce) Peterson; grandchildren Luke, Hailey and Alex; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clarine. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the numerous health care workers who helped Joanne through her journey. A visitation and casual gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, October 2, 1-3 pm at the Washburn McReavy Glen Haven Chapel, 5125 W. Broadway, Crystal 763-533-8643.
