Mauritz, John Karl Age 55 died 8/25/16 after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his family. Survived by girlfriend Pam; her daughter Heather; mother Marlyn; sister Kathy; brother-in-law Jim; nieces Nina and Hope; sister Lyn; nephew Robert; former brother-in-law Rob. Preceded in death by father Jack and niece Madelyn. A 1979 graduate of Chaska High School, he served in the Marines followed by a career at Mankato Kasota Stone. He and Pam recently built in LeSueur. John was happiest outdoors and in his new home. He will be dearly missed. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
