Larson, Amy M. (Lindquist) age 103, of Minneapolis, passed away 8-18-2016, survived by her sons, Ralph (Joyce), James (Teri), David (Judy); special former daughter-in-law, Carolyn Larson; 6 grandchildren, Julie (Scott) Dunmire, Wendy Larson (Al Batto), Kristin (Rick) Palm, Jana Larson, Karl (Melissa) Larson, and Audra (Brent) Engebretson. Grandma Amy "Mimi" was blessed with 8 great grandchildren and cherished the families of her daughters-in-law as her own. Survived by sister-in-law, Alice Lindquist; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Amy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Douglas Larson; sisters, Sadie, Florence, Myrtle, Alice, Marcella, Linnea; and brothers, Levi, Edgar, Henry, Emil, Carl, Robert; and daughter-in-law, Janet Larson. Amy was born 12-14-1912, in Lafayette Township, MN, to Lars John and Anna (Webster) Lindquist. Amy married Douglas Larson on July 13, 1935, and lived in MN until retiring to Sequim, WA in 1971. After Doug passed in 1980, Amy remained in Sequim, returning to MN in 2008. She enjoyed family, gardening, birds; loved puzzles and games. Amy hand quilted and was known for her embroidered dishtowels. She loved to cook, can and bake, especially pies. Thank you to the many amazing "angels" who cared for her over the years.
