Root, Dorothy Dawn Age 81 - of Buffalo, MN passed away peacefully at Abbott Northwestern Hospital on Monday, August 22nd. Survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerry Root; children: Laurie (Ken) May, Greg (Karen) Botts, Kim (Jeff) Eggen, Brad (Robin) Botts, Wendy (Jonathan) Friesen, Rachael (Jeff) Thones; grandchildren: Ben (Cari) Eggen, Olivia Eggen, Kevin Botts, Michelle Botts, Michael Botts, Matthew Botts, Emma Friesen, Isaac Friesen, Simeon Friesen, Kelley May; great grandchildren: Connor Polland, Gaige Lauer, Blake Lauer, Charlie Eggen, Graham Eggen; sister: Mona (Arvid) Flanum; and her four legged pal - Mutzi. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Bertha Getschel, brother, Donald Getschel and wife Donna Getschel, and grandson Adrien May. Memorial service for Dorothy will be held Saturday, August 27 at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. all at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 302 2nd St. NE, Buffalo, MN.
