Heggen, Margaret E. Age 92, of Eagan, passed away July 14, 2016. Preceded in death by loving parents, Roy Clapshaw and Ella Louise Frederike Behrendt; her husband, Harwood Heggen; childeren, Richard E. Almquist and Cheryl Lynn Almquist. Survived by daughter-in-law, Debra Almquist; grandchildren, Todd (Michelle) Almquist; Tracy (Christopher) Tschida; Nicole (Joshua) Mead; Sherilyn (Justin) Gross. Also survived by great grandchildren, Tryniti and Jordan Almquist; Victoria and Carter Tschida; Isaiah, Kaleb, Ariana, Isabella, and Jacob Mead. After raising her children, Margaret worked for the Hennepin County Courthouse until her retirement. She loved to travel with her husband Harwood. They took trips to Alaska, Europe, Hawaii, and traveled around the U.S. in their RV. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. After her husband's death, she resided at the Common's on Marice for her final eight years of life. Funeral service Monday, July 25, 11 am at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Home, 5000 W. 50th @ Hwy 100, Edina. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery. Luncheon to follow.
