Brackin, Doris E. age 87, of Roseville was reunited with the love of her life, Leslie Brackin, when she passed away on June 24, 2016. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born and raised in Siren, Wi., one of nine siblings, and met Les at Siren High School, where they were the school's homecoming king and queen. They were inseparable from that point on, until Les' passing in August of 2012. Les had suffered a stroke 10 years before his death, and Doris' selfless dedication and caregiving to her husband helped give him another decade of life. Doris was a homemaker and later worked as a proof reader at CompuServ. She loved reading, writing and in her last years, when mobility was difficult, looking at photos of her great grandchildren. Preceded in death by Les; mother and father, Hulda (Larson) and Victor Nordquist. Survived by son, Dennis (Margie); daughter, Gayle; grandchildren, James (Catie), Ryan (Bridget) and Anna (Sam); great- grandchildren, J.J., Ella, Cooper and Connor; plus sisters, Bunny Johnson and Fannie England; nieces, nephews and many other relatives. Memorial Service Wednesday 11 AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2651 N. Victoria, Roseville. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
