Wells, Catherine M. 65, of Rose-mount, lost her fight with cancer on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on June 15, 1951 in Peoria, IL to Asaad L. and Doretta M. (Weiss) Francis. She married Larry L. Wells on February 24, 1972 in Peoria, IL. She is survived by her husband Larry; three sons: Preston (Heather), Justin, and Brandon, 9 grandchildren, and her sister Patricia Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Frank Francis and one niece, Nicole Montgomery. Cathy worked at Cray Research for many years in the corporate offices. After the corporate life, she and Larry hit the road to travel the contiguous 48 states many times over as a semi-truck driver team. Her inquisitive nature, servants heart, and generous spirit will be greatly missed. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at Cross of Christ Community Church, 8748 210th St W., Lakeville immediately followed by a lunch. Casual attire is encouraged. Memorials may be made to MN Teen Challenge or Breath of Hope.
