Peterson, Helen L. of Minneapolis, Born Feb. 13, 1919 (Ayr, N.D.,) began walking the streets of Heaven on June 18, 2016 at the age of 97 years. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 74 years, Carl; son, Dennis Lee; parents, Thomas and Minnie Esdaile; sisters and brothers-in-law, Agnes & Frank Lammers, Marvel & Donald Danielson, and Alyce & Dwayne Davis. Helen will be dearly missed by her loving daughter, Janet Gillespie; grandson, Michael Peterson; great grandchildren, Victoria and Jacob; great great grandson, Izayiah; sisters-in-law, Alvera Peterson (Braham); Ruby Johnson (Calif.), Viviann Opsal (Mpls.); many nieces, nephews, and friends. Celebration of Life 11:00 am, Saturday, July 2 at Crosstown Covenant Church, 5540 30th Ave. S., Mpls., with visitation at church 1 hour before the service. Memorials preferred to the church. Private interment in Braham.
