Hagert, Blake Christian July 30, 1992 ~ April 10, 2014 Blake Christian Hagert, age 21, born on July 30th 1992, passed away on April 10th, 2014 and is now resting in peace. Blake is preceded in death by his Great Grandparents, Grandfather William Hagert and his battle buddy - PFC Christian "Saint" Sannicolas. Blake was born on July 30th, 1992 in Burnsville, MN to Trudy and Lance Hagert. He graduated from Apple Valley High School in 2010. Blake enlisted in the United States Army on February 2011. Blake was part of the 82nd Airborne Division, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment where he served as a Rifleman. He was called to defend our country in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan where he was wounded and awarded the Purple Heart Medal. Blake is survived by his beautiful wife, Chelsea; parents, Trudy, Lance (Nicole), little sister Bailey, Grandparents Curt (Connie), Karen, Eleanore, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins, Landan (Alice) Tyler, Heidi, Ned, Leah (Bill), Beau, Cody (Bethany), Marla (Dean) Sierra, Sawyer, Carter. Blake had a smile that would light up the room. He was loved by everyone who had the privilege to know him during his short 21 years with us. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
