Jahnke, Tara Rose age 36, of Hastings, passed away May 29, 2016 at her home. She was born October 13, 1979 to Joseph and Linda Zitzmann. Tara went to Waconia Elementary School, Pueblo West Elementary and Middle Schools and graduated from Eagan High School. She went on to college and graduated from Metro State University. Tara worked at Tappe Construction and then at Comcast. Tara married Gary Jahnke on June 11, 2005 and they resided in Hastings, MN. They were blessed with one daughter, Ella Rose. Tara is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Ella; parents, Joe & Linda Zitzmann; sister, Leah Spurzem & her daughter, ShyAnne Spurzem; grandmother, Valeria Rozeski; mother- and father-in-law, Robert & Trudy Jahnke; brother-in- law, Steve Jahnke; sister-in-law, Shelly (Buck) Pepera and their children, Samantha, Grace, Margo, Kelsey; brother-in-law, Shawn (Marrissa) Rudd; brother-in-law, Scott Rudd and his children, Hunter, Hailey, Chloe; and many other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday (6/6) at 4:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th St. W., Hastings. A gathering will take place one hour prior to mass at church. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery. Thank you to everyone who helped our family in any way.
