McLaughlin, Joyce Irene Perry passed away peacefully on Jan. 16, 2016. Joyce was the 8th of 9 children born to Lafe and Edith Perry on June 29, 1920 in Appleton, MN. She graduated from Appleton High School in 1938 and attended one year of commercial college, graduating in 1939. On June 5, 1942 she was united in marriage to Raymond W. McLaughlin of Hollaway, MN. They resided in Richfield for several years and in 2001 she moved to Coon Rapids, MN. After working for many years for Honeywell, she enjoyed a well deserved retirement, playing golf, traveling with friends and family and playing bridge 5 times a week or more. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; daughter, Judy Zeney; and granddaughter, Lynn Wong. Joyce is survived by her son, Keith (Jean) of Marietta, GA; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Neva Gliskey; several nieces, nephews and many friends. She will be missed. A memorial service is planned 11:00 AM June 29, 2016 at Washburn-McReavy Dawn Valley Chapel, 9940 Bush Lake Road, Bloomington, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
