Dobis, Cyril Leo 5/12/1927 - 2/9/2016 Cyril passed away peacefully on Tuesday the 9th of February after a long battle with cancer. Cyril was preceded in death by wife, Bonnie; mother, Elizabeth & father, Paul Dobis; sisters: Angeline Halva, Celestine DeVilliers; brothers: Ray, George, Alvin & Richard; many good friends. Survived by sisters-in-law, Geraldine Dobis & Mary Anderson; children: Steve Dobis, Jeanne Manseau, Diane (Bob) Dotzler, Pauline (Mike) Danielson and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. The youngest of seven, he followed his brothers into the service of his country and enlisted in the US Navy serving during WWII. He received a history degree from St. Thomas. Being a loving husband, devoted father and family man was demonstrated by him working multiple jobs to support his family. Cyril loved to hunt, fish and golf. Known as the Onion King, Cyril loved to garden - always claiming it as his fifth child. He was a lifetime member of Kraus Hartig VFW, being a Veteran of Foreign Wars. Cyril was always concerned with his spiritual condition and that of his family. What does the scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."
