Metz, Donald D. (Doc) Age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 7th with his wife of 61 years, Beverley, at his side. Born 3/30/1927 in Slayton, MN to Clarence & Gladys Metz. Proud father of 5 daughters; Marjorie (David) Gehant, Mariley (Benson) Leo, Melanie (Shannon Omites) Metz, Melinda (Terry) Rosenow, Monica (Mark) Raskob. Grandfather to; Amy (Darren) DeYoung, Angela (Ryan) Mann, Sarah Greteman-Leo, Charis, Corbin & Carter Leo, Andrea (Damon) Flora, Erin Rosenow, Riley & Ryan Raskob. Great grandfather to; Colin & Clayton DeYoung, Sophia & Weston Mann, Alexandra Flora. In-Laws Gerald & Nancy Rose, Niece Susanne Rose, Nephew Douglas (Nina) Rose & family. Doc was a well-liked physician at Robbinsdale Clinic for 35 years. He was also a Navy Veteran, Past Master of Masonic Lodge No.19, Pilot, Sailor, Gardener, Orchardist (Started and Cultivated an Apple Orchard), and loved his numerous other hobbies. Don's wish was for a "Big Party" in his honor.
